The Hall offers the following facilities:
Downstairs
- Large meeting room with seating for 100 people
- Small meeting room with seating for 30 people
- Toilets (including disabled facilities)
- Ladies' and gents' shower rooms
- Kitchen with full catering facilities
Upstairs
- Large meeting room with seating for 100 people
- Disabled lift access
- Small kitchen with limited facilities (this kitchen can also be used as a bar for licensed events)
Outside
- Access to the building is at ground level, with easy access for wheelchairs
- Streamside terraced barbecue area
Parking
- Limited parking next to the hall
- There is a large car park beside the village picnic area, across the road from the Hall (parking charges by donation to honesty box, administered by the Parish Council)
The Village Hall is an ideal venue for that special occasion and is available for hire for all types of events.
All function rooms can be hired separately or as a combination, for all or part of a day. All three rooms are used for meetings, conferences and mini exhibitions. The hall is also used on many occasions for overnight accomodation by youth groups, Scouts, Guides and conservation volunteers.
Current users include many local organisations as well as groups from further afield.
Hirers are able to use the kitchen facilities for their catering needs, or the Pendle Inn offers a wide range of pub food, and the Barley Mow Restaurant offers a more comprehensive menu. The Barley Tea Rooms are also very popular with visitors to the village.
